Covington associates and sisters gathered on December 3, 2016 at the Provincial Center. The day included Mass, updates from the JPIC committees, and presentations from associates Tina Bernheimer and Kathy Kramer, who recently finished an international leadership training program for sisters and associates.

The group also began answering the questions Who am I? Who are you? Who are we? so that they can eventually answer the questions What do we want? Where are we going? How do we get there? These questions are a part of the associates' ongoing planning and development. Just as the sisters at the four US provinces are preparing to become one province, so are the associates.

Associates and sisters paired up to interview each other and answer the questions Who am I? Who are you? Who are we? They were then invited to share what they learned. Some of the responses:

"He wants to give back because others have been so good to him."

"The next time you pick up scripture and read about the 12 apostles...can you please add the name of my friend here?"

"Sister cares for plants at the provincial house, but more importantly, she cares about what they do for her fellow sisters."

"We can light the fire under the percolator!"

"Through your acts of kindness, you are the reign of God!"
