In October 2013, the Sisters of Notre Dame’s Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Commission launched a project in conjunction with the organization Engineers Without Borders.  The goal was to collect used purses, shoes, duffel bags and backpacks to raise money for a water project for the SND mission in Uganda, East Africa.  At the end of the project 4600 pounds of shoes, purses, and backpacks were collected, which brought in $2,162.00 for the Uganda water project.

Thanks to the many students and families who participated in this project.  Our water tank in now constructed at the Buseesa mission in Uganda, East Africa.
