Welcome Back

On December 7, 2019, the Covington Province welcomed back Sisters Mary Judith Averbeck and Anita Marie Stacy, who have spent more than a decade teaching in Uganda.

Sister Judith arrived at St. Julie Mission in 2007; Sister Anita Marie in 2002. Both taught at Notre Dame Academy and launched the new A-level program.

Also leaving St. Julie Mission in early December was Sister Bernarde Derichsweiler from Coesfeld, Germany and volunteer Kayla Drager from Ohio.

Sister Bernarde began teaching at St. Julie Primary in 2004 and built a special connection with the St. Julie Old Student Association. Kayla served as a volunteer teacher at Notre Dame Academy from January 2019 through December 2019.

Please join us on February 1 to welcome back Sister Judith, Sister Anita Marie, and Kayla...and to show our appreciation for our Uganda Mission partners.
