Sr. Mary Jeanne Frances Cleves received the Congressman Hal Rogers Difference Maker Award at the St. Claire Medical Pavilion Groundbreaking Ceremony on May 2.

Congressman Rogers presented Sr. Jeanne Frances with the award for her dedication to healthcare in the Morehead, KY region. "Sr. Jeanne Frances exemplifies what the Sisters of Notre Dame have meant to this part of our region," Congressman Rogers said. "More than 50 years ago, she started as a nurse in the emergency room and continues to work part-time today, visiting with patients and ministering to them. She helped transform healthcare in Morehead and continues to serve as a true Difference Maker."

Congratulations, Sr. Jeanne Frances. Your commitment to and love for the people of Morehead, KY, and the surrounding region is a portrait of living Gospel values and fostering the fullness of life! Thank you to our partners and friends served by St. Claire for making the Sisters of Notre Dame a part of your community so many years ago.
