Kayla Drager will volunteer teach at St. Julie Mission from January 2019-December 2019.

Kayla Drager, a Berea, Ohio resident and 2015 graduate of Berea-Midpark High School, was invited by the Covington Sisters of Notre Dame (SND) to volunteer at St. Julie Mission in Uganda for twelve months. The SND mission in eastern Africa is home to nursery, primary, and secondary schools, and educates 600+ students annually.

Kayla's volunteer duties will include teaching high school chemistry, computer, and mathematics classes, tutoring students, and working on the mission farm.

“I have always loved serving others and working with people,” Drager said. “Through my past volunteer involvements, I learned that I love to lead and to teach. I love bringing light to others and sharing my passions.”
