70 former students...3 days in Buseesa...lots of fun and planning. This can only mean that the Julie Old Student Association held its annual alumni meeting at the SND St. Julie Mission in Uganda!

Sister Mary Bernarde Derichsweiler reported that although rain made for difficult travel on the dirt roads, 70 former students of St. Julie Primary School gathered in Buseesa at the end of December. The group of students calls themselves JOSA-Julie Old Student Association and refers to each other as old boys and old girls of St. Julie.

In addition to reconnecting, the JOSA gathering included club business under the new president Wasswa Peter, as well as Mass that was led by old boys who were recently ordained priests, Frs. Yeremiah and John Mary.

Sister Bernarde said that after the JOSA gathering ended, she went to the school to tidy up and found everything in perfect order and cleaned by the old boys and girls.
