We pray that years of hard work and dedication in the classroom will pay off in the coming weeks! Notre Dame Academy Senior Secondary students began the national examination for the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) on Monday, October 13, 2014. This examination period, also referred to as the O-level test will last until Monday, November 3 and covers geography, chemistry, mathematics, English, and more. Click here to view the full examination schedule.

The UCE determines if a student is prepared to move on to the final two years of his/her six-year secondary education, also called the A-levels.

Sr. Anita Marie Stacy sent an email to the Covington detailing the examination schedule and asked for our prayers:

"...Please pray that the Holy Spirit inspires them and that they do very well. It has been a very nice class to work with, and they have a lot of potential. Of course, the road to success for them is a good education, so I would be most grateful if you would ask the sisters to join in praying for them, especially during this stressful time. Thank you for your loving support that we feel throughout the year. God bless you for your care. Gratefully, Sr. Anita Marie"
