Sr. Mary Dolores Giblin
What a blast—of Spirit action, openness to that action and to others encountered. Altogether an enriching and motivating experience! I think we all walked away from the SND*USA gathering feeling like it is truly a blessing to belong to the Notre Dame family in the United States. Of course, there are myriad details to be ironed out yet; that became evident early on, but the determination to tackle these and the possibilities of doing so were also evident.
Meeting many Sisters that we already knew, if only slightly, and making the acquaintance of new people were a daily delight. Of course, this was one of the foremost purposes of the conference so that when we do become one province, each of us will know several people in the other three regions. Pooling talents and gifts, now that we have a better idea of what these are in real people, gave me a sense of confidence in the future of Notre Dame in this country. There is no end of blessings awaiting us if we are willing to let the Spirit work. Come, Holy Spirit.
I feltif I felt energized. The Holy Spirit's been seen in our midst. I am very grateful to all who worked to make this gathering possible Thank you
