Vocations - On the Way, Then and Now

Exploring God's Call

St. Julie Billiart, spiritual foundress of the Sisters of Notre Dame, was willing to be exiled from her beloved native France. Sister Mary Aloysia, historical foundress, left Germany to serve in America. From its German cradle in 1850, the Sisters of Notre Dame have grown into an international family, brightening the lives of people from many countries and cultures with the light of education and other ministries, the stories of God's goodness, and the love of Mary.

As women on the way, they walk together bringing their different customs, histories and way of life, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of God.
