Journeying in Notre Dame for the past 50 years has been an adventure into the mystery of God. In December 2016, I returned home from Rome having completed a six-year term ministering on the General Level. It was a privilege to witness the mystery of God at work throughout the global ND world. I take pride in being part of the Sisters of Notre Dame, in something much bigger than any one of us. How was I going to contribute now that I was home? How was I called to witness to God’s goodness and provident care in this phase of the journey?

I registered as a member of Saint Joseph Parish, Cold Spring and as such am sharing in the life of the parish. Being a member of the Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) team and assisting as a catechist has been life-giving for me and hopefully I am contributing to the group. Working with and for persons in need is also important to me. I have begun to teach at the Life Learning Center (LLC) in Covington helping the unemployed or under-employed along a transformational journey. The LLC mission is to “deliver a holistic, integrated continuum of learning and care to help ‘at risk’ citizens reach their highest potential.” What better way to witness God’s goodness and provident care than helping others find God’s love in their own lives through RCIA and the Life Learning Center!
