Sister Mary Ellen Strunk, a Sister of Notre Dame, is a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Thomas More College and Xavier University with a degree in Elementary Education and Educational Administration. In her 45 years of teaching and administration, 10 ½ years teaching at Prince of Peace, she has been instrumental in building up the Prince of Peace Library and teaching weekly Library classes to the students.

Growing up, one of my favorite movies was “Shrek.” I loved Donkey’s character and his banter with Shrek. Beyond the silliness, which made it a very relatable movie, there were good images and lessons.
